Cement Production Workshop (grinding of clinker, gypsum, and additives)
(EIA Report for Change in Operating Conditions)
*Environmental decision #2-605 was issued for this activity on July 26, 2018.
The facility had an environmental permit for cement production of 10 tons/hour, which with a 12-hour working day produces 120 tons, and with 300 working days per year produces 36,000 tons of cement. The enterprise mainly plans to produce grade 300, 400, and 500 cement.
Due to increased cement demand in the country, the enterprise planned to increase production capacity, specifically by installing a new 30 tons/hour capacity mill and increasing the 12-hour working day to 16 hours. Thus, the planned annual output of the 30 tons/hour mill will be 30x16x300=144,000 tons/year.
After installing the 30 tons/hour mill and obtaining the relevant permit, the existing 10 tons/hour mill will go into standby mode, specifically it will only be activated when the 30 tons/hour mill goes into maintenance mode. Its maximum expected operating days will be 60 days, and accordingly, with a 16-hour working day, it will produce 10x16x60=9,600 tons/year.
The maximum annual production output is expected to be 144,000+9,600=153,600 tons.
Additionally, three silos will be added to the cement silos, each with 130 tons capacity, after which there will be 8 silos in total.

The main atmospheric air pollutants emitted from the plant are: inorganic dust and cement dust
Dust collection system: Each cement grinding mill is equipped with a unified exhaust air-dust mixture cleaning system.
Specifically, the cement grinding mill will be equipped with an effective three-stage air cleaning system. Stage I – settling chamber with 10% efficiency. Stage II – cyclone with 70% efficiency, and Stage III – bag filters with 99.9% efficiency. After cleaning the exhaust air-dust mixture, the captured cement dust will be returned to the cement elevator.
The first 10 tons/hour capacity mill is equipped with effective two-stage air cleaning equipment. Stage I – cyclone with 70% efficiency and Stage II – bag filters with 99.9% efficiency. After cleaning the exhaust air-dust mixture, the captured cement dust will be returned to the cement elevator.
Bag filters will also be installed on the cement silos, with an efficiency of 99.9%.
