In November 2020 “Gavigudet” (i.e. We are suffocating) together with volunteers planted trees and installed an irrigation system on 1 hectare of the land plot in Rustavi. Additional 100 trees were planted on various spots in the city.<\/p>\n
The tree-planting initiative aims to secure a clean recreational area for Rustavi\u2019s present and future generations. The activists\u2019 group sponsored this idea through crowdfunding platform “Orbeliani Meti”. During an intensive fundraising campaign, we attracted half of the project funding (6,000 GEL) through public donations and received the second half of the needed amount through “Orbeliani Georgia” funding. The final budget of the project reached 12,000 GEL and was used for creating green spaces in the city.<\/p>\n

Architectural design and construction company Tetrix<\/strong> has Voluntarily made a general plan of the area, a drawing of the irrigation system and created a complete project taking into account the future prospects of the area;<\/p>\n The Rustavi Municipality City Hall<\/strong> will cover irrigation costs completely \u2013 as of January, 2021;<\/p>\n The Rustavi Innovation Hub<\/strong> has donated 5,600 GEL to \u201cGavigudet\u201d to expand its activities (part of this donation will be used in spring during the tree planting campaign);<\/p>\n Agency of Wildlife<\/strong> donated trees to the campaign.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":478,"template":"","yoast_head":"\n
