\"\"Today, on May 31, a public deliberation of the EIA report on the construction and operation project of the lime and combined fertilizer enterprise of “Elba Export” LLC was held in the City Hall of Rustavi.<\/p>\n

The deliberation was attended by representatives of the civil movement “Gavigudet”, the enterprise, the consulting company, the National Environmental Agency, Rustavi City Hall, the City Council and the settlement of the \u201cMary Canal\u201d. Members of the Eco Club of the N18 public school also joined us at the deliberation.<\/p>\n

Our team provided information about the deliberation to the citizens in advance (see post<\/a>).<\/p>\n

“Elba Export” LLC produces lime and plans to build another enterprise for the production of combined fertilizer, which is obtained by mixing various fertilizers and minerals. It is planned for it to produce 86,400 tons of combined fertilizer during the year.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the presented project, it is planned to set up a lime and combined fertilizer processing enterprise, within the framework of which the construction of two buildings with auxiliary infrastructure is planned.<\/p>\n

The enterprise will produce different types of combined fertilizer in different periods of the year and it will depend on the demand for the specific fertilizer. Accordingly, the company should produce different types of fertilizer. It should be mentioned, that in terms of sales, the company has an agreement at the level of memorandum, both with the two largest fertilizer dealers in Georgia and with the partner company in Armenia.<\/p>\n

Based on the EIA report and the information presented at the deliberation, the mentioned production cycle properly arranged and is taking place in a closed area; Therefore, as a result of the operation of the enterprise, a significant negative impact is not expected. We hope things will go according to the plan and the enterprise will function in accordance with the standards.<\/p>\n

According to the project, the enterprise will have 3 sources of organized emission and it is planned to install sleeved filters with 99.8% efficiency on each of them.<\/p>\n
