After several occasions of violating the dates of introduction of the filtration system, the installation works at the enterprise have finished (photo N1), hence the company representatives invited us to see the rearranged factory.<\/p>\n<p>This was the third visit of our team to the plant. The <a href=\"https:\/\/gavigudet.org\/news\/gavigudeth-shps-ruseloisshi-imqhopheboda\/\">first visit<\/a> was carried out in 2021 and the company administration had promised that they would have finished all the reequipment works, including the installation of a self-monitoring system, for May 2022. However, during the <a href=\"https:\/\/gavigudet.org\/en\/news\/gavigudet-visited-ltd-rusalloys\/\">second visit<\/a>, these works had not still been finished and the installation works were underway.<\/p>\n<p>As we have mentioned, the filtration system with a service life of at least 1 year, is already in working mode; Besides, so-called big-bags (photo N2) are attached at the end of the filter pipes in order to avoid dust dispersion into the air. Big Bags\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Regarding the self-monitoring system, at first, the company promised to launch it at the beginning of September, then this deadline was extended to November 15. Today\u2019s visit made clear that, the company has already received the system and they are waiting for the experts from India to install it. As the company representatives explained, this process will take around 3-4 months.<\/p>\n<p>During our visit, we also found out the reason for the violation of the dates of filter installation, and as it is clear, one technical part of the system has arrived incorrectly, so the replacement procedures took time. However, the company management expressed willingness to make measurements before the installation of this system, to see the real picture of the emissions and make sure of the efficiency of filters.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, in the framework of the meeting, we discussed the problem of unorganized emissions from the furnaces, but the director showed us photos of properly wrapped furnaces, so that more facts of unorganized emissions from the furnaces are not expected.<\/p>\n<p>Our team has also raised an issue of a Sulphur smell, coming from the enterprise. However, we have been told that, high content of Sulphur use is not allowed in \u201cRusalloys\u201d production process; and in case of such a fact again, they will try to find out if there is any fault in the production.<\/p>\n<p>Like in other factories, the issue of dust dispersion from raw materials is still a challenge in \u201cRusalloys\u201d LLC as well. Regarding this, we have been promised that, the watering intensity will be increased.<\/p>\n<p>Before the self-monitoring system is launched it is difficult to be certain that the problem of emissions is solved at the enterprise, however, it is obvious, the company has undergone great works of reequipment, and hopefully, from now on it will continue to operate in compliance with the law.<\/p>\n<p>We will be happy with the success of every law-abiding enterprise, that care for the employees and the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3561,"template":"","yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.0 -
